Building resilience, developing social dexterity and learning independently are paramount to success and, at Clifton Hall School, we aim to instill these lifelong skills in a warm, caring environment.
In the lower Junior School, Mathematics, English, Art, Religious Studies and topic work are delivered by the class teacher whilst other subjects such as PE, Swimming, Modern Foreign Languages and Music are taught by specialist teachers.
In the upper Junior School, pupils also have the experience of Science, Art, Drama, Heritage, Philosophy and ICT lessons taught by specialist teachers.
We recognise the importance of outdoor learning, and all classes experience the excitement of three educational outings each year. In Junior 6 and 7, these experiences culminate in residential trips to high-quality Education Centres where children are given the opportunity to learn about history, climb, sail, kayak, abseil and orienteer.
